It took four long years for Ro James to release his sophomore album. In that time leading up to Mantic dropping (5/29/2020 via RCA) James did a whole lot of living. The suave and sultry R&B singer-songwriter called Music Choice to pointedly discuss what he went through to create the 15 tracks that make up his new record and a bit about what he’s learned about himself in the process. Talking with Music Choice’s Marcella Yazhbin James delves into a bad breakup, meeting new people and traveling the world. Ro tells us how his goal is to release classic music that “stands the test of time.”
