Jhay Cortez- “DIME A VE” (UMLEl)
Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jhay Cortez has a new heater to get the summer even more sweaty. The sweetly bumping “Dime A Ve” features a knocking Reggaeton beat and Cortez’s smooth vocals bouncing along with it. Hear the track now on Music Choice’s Music Urbana channel!
Koe Wetzel- “Sundy Or Mundy” (Columbia)
Country singer-songwriter Koe Wetzel has added some serious crunch to his sound. On new track (and first since signing to Columbia Records) Wetzel has dropped most of the twang in favor of crunchy guitars and a pounding backbeat. While the music is certainly rocking the hook on the chorus goes down real smooth. Hear it now on Music Choice’s Alternative channel.
Christine and the Queens- “Eyes of a Child” (Because)
The French singer-songwriter and producer Christine and the Queens has released a chilling new track “Eyes of a Child.” The song will be featured on the second season of the Amazon Prime show HANNA. The track is a haunting movement of absorbing atmospheric guitar, keys, and more sounds as Chris’ vocals are as powerful as ever. Hear it on MC’s Indie channel.
Clinton Kane- “hopeless” (Columbia)
Could 20-year-old singer-songwriter Clinton Kane be the next Ed Sheeran? If his new single “hopeless” is any indication that is certainly in the realm of possibility. It’s a huge pop song with ascendant choruses that bloom and then explode with Kane’s big voice making everything soar. Check it out on the Teen Beats channel.
Cee Kay- “Mona Lisa” (Republic)
Pine Bluff, Arkansas rapper Cee Kay is definitely one to watch. With a laidback flow the rapper floats across the “Mona Lisa” beat showing off nimble rhyming abilities and a real knack for melody. Catch the “Mona Lisa” vibe on the Music Choice Underground Hip-Hop channel.
